Best breakfast in town.
My first time there. It was great. I’m from England so I had the fish and chips. Really good. Bangers and mash next time. Loved the silly hat I had to wear, as a first time customer. All in good fun. Highly recommended this cute place.
It was father's day and we were in and out of there in an hour. Their food is excellent. I had the cinnamon french toast and it was so yummy. Their biscuit and gravy with eggs and hash brown was excellent too. Don't have any pictures cuz it looked so good we couldn't wait to eat.
I came to get breakfast with my out-of-town guest because of the raving reviews. I was not sure what to expect. I arrived a bit early and checked in with the hostess. Their policy is to avoid seating patrons whose party is not here. OK, not the most exciting rule, but I went with it.We were seated as soon as my friend arrived. We placed an order for two omelettes from their pretty extensive menu. Before the food arrived, the staff started a dance celebrating someone's birthday. It was very entertaining and fun. Throughout our breakfast this happened at least three times. You certainly come here for experience, not just food.Food was ok, prices a bit on the higher end. Overall, a nice breakfast spot to show off to your visitors.
Great service and food. Will be back. Even with the dining restrictions our experience was wonderful
The best fish and chip I've had in years. Great staff very friendly. We we're here on a Friday night and Saturday morning the place is busy but we had good fast service.
Fun restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. Great food and prices. Friendly staff. Make sure to mention if it's your first time!! The Monte Cristo is amazing, bit you have to order it deep fried!
Ok the food is good and I had the country skillet which was good. That said, the service was outstanding and this is a great country cafe. The setting and the staff are what will bring me back several times. Totally worth it and hint, if you are a newbie, tell your server, you won't be disappointed.
Great food and coffees! The service is fast and friendly. A must stop restaurant if you're in Lake Elsinore
Their food is excellent. I had the cinnamon french toast and it was so good.fresh food..
Beautiful cozy spot. Quick and friendly service with a great menu. This was the first time we visited Annie's and we were delighted! I had some special requests with my order and they were pleased to make it how I asked. Frech fries are served in a spiral iron tray and with a newspaper linning paper ❤ the whole place is beautifully decorated and has a home feeling. Very happy with the visit and worth the drive from Hemet.
They serve large dishes and for affordable prices. very nice employees. Keep up the good work.
In love with this place! The best deep fried Monte Cristo ever! Great service as well.
Very tasty food. Fun atmosphere. Burgers were amazing. Decent value
Great food, reasonably priced, very inviting atmosphere
Comfy and cozy themed restaurant with great food and very friendly staff. love the food hear amazing nice place to meet and hung out enjoy the food. I am impressed with this place and the service was truly amazing.
Great homestyle breakfast diner! Fish and chips are really good also..
Prices are reasonable😏 staff is excellent!!! A little bit different in the current covid situation eating outside but other than that no big deal food was good
If ever I need a full English breakfast this is the only place in town. It's called the 'Winston Churchill' and is the only item on the menu for me. New owners but have not changed anything, thankfully. They also have a license for beer. The milkshakes are great too. Additionally a great selection of all American diner cuisine at its best. Staff have always been great. Very busy at weekends. Oh and they sell the most authentic simple British bangers that I have tasted in America. (I'm 1st gen immigrant from England). Solid quality food. If it ain't broke don't fix it!
British themed cafe with an amazing breakfast. The wife and I had a very pleasant time there. Definitely recommend
Great food, flavorful.. service was super nice
Generally, it was a great time. The service was really on point, they have a great coffee bar with lots of different flavors to dress your coffee too. Waitresses did a little sing and dance at a certain point which was a bit alarming and awkward but also cute and old-timey. Really comforting environment. The food was just okay though but we left replenished and happy from the restaurant's good vibes. Their apple tart was very good though but it's on the smaller side. We ordered ice cream with it, which the scoops were very generous portions. Great spot after visiting the poppy apocalypse, which is why we stopped there.
The restaurant itself is not very large, so it gets full quickly. The food was good for the most part. The service was decent. It was packed in the middle of the week around 11am, so I don't even want to think how busy this place would be during the weekend. I ordered an omelette (I don't remember the name, but I know out was the smaller version of a 4-egg omelette) with the country potatoes. The omelette was really good. The potatoes were not my favorite. I like my potatoes to be soft, and these were a bit on the harder side. The food took a while to get to us, but as I mentioned before, they were very busy. I would go to Annie's again, but I would probably avoid it during the weekend. There is a large parking lot because they share it with a shopping center, but I can see it getting full quickly. I would refine recommend the food, but just make sure you're specific as to how you want things cooked (particularly the potatoes). ;)
We love eatinvvhere. We love the staff forsure. Food is awsome
Annie's Cafe has great food, especially breakfast! The food tends towards the English type of fare, but also has great traditional cuisine as well.
I'm so glad we visited Annie's! They had really good food and the service was phenomenal. On your first visit they dance for you if you let them know it's your first time. It's so much fun! Their coffee was great, they got our order just right, and it came out pretty quickly. If you're in Lake Elsinore you need to visit this place. You'll love it!
Monte Cristo I'm full, and the pic is half of what was given. Great service, fun atmosphere. They do an old school dance. New comers wear a hat.
Second time going to Annie's Cafe in Lake Elsinore. Both times were good trips with good service and great food. I had the BOGO deal and took my sister for breakfast on a Monday morning. We didn't wait very long and were seated fast. The food was yummy--forgot the names of what we ordered but everything on their menu is worth trying (delicious, big portions, cooked to order). Next time we want to try their coffee cake --it looks great. Highly recommended restaurant.
Great food. Great service. Ask for Chanel!
First time visit. The perfect place to meet. I have a Sister in Oceanside and we live in Chino. Annie's is right in the middle. Great menu for Breakfast or Lunch.
Great little gem. Prices are good, around $6-$12 for most things, and quality is great. Biscuits and gravy was awesome, soft inside, crisp outside. I had to get the Winston Churchill, not the kind of thing I'd normally get, but was pretty awesome in the end. The grilled tomato goes perfect with the bangers, and the baked means, mushrooms and Canadian bacon also great pairing. Lastly is the potatos and eggs, classic. Try the fried bread too. Most of all, the service was impeccable, 11 out of 10 for that.
Great food, friendly and great service! If it's your 1st time going be sure to tell them for a special treat!! Definitely get the coffee cake! Super delicious!
Cozy, friendly service, & a good variety of breakfast, lunch, & dinner menu. First, had the New York Cheesecake - I've had better, but it still was pretty good. Next, I had the "eggstravaganza" omelette with hash browns - it was yummy! The kid's menu was good. My God-daughter wasn't that hungry so the "Baby Cakes" was perfect for her. My wife had a country breakfast with buiscuits & gravy - the gravy just fell a bit short on flavor. Overall, a good find on the way to San Diego Safari Park!
The food was delicious and the waitress was friendly and fast. It's a wonderful place to take your family and friends to eat breakfast and lunch.
We took the dog and they had a Dog menu it was awesome we had the owner of the restaurant out there everybody came and pet the dog take am to Home Depot
It was the Perfect Place for the right time to getaway with the people who you love the most and the Staff and Kitchen Crew made you feel wanted and very Special with high quality food and very lively entertainment....
This place was one of my favorites for years and years. I dont know whats going on but they have lost their touch quite a bit. They used to offer something different than the rest. They were allways a step above the rest. The past 3 times we have been they have either gotten the orders wrong, or really late, just seams like their heart isn't in it any more. Or even delivery was way off. Hope they bring back the greatness that it used to be. We will see what it's like next time we go.
Amazing food! Visiting from out of town and needed a place that was dog friendly, so we decided to try this cafe out. We went for breakfast both days! Great service, food, and patio!
Yes, the lights went down and they started dancing. The place was packed, the food was good, friendly and quick service. I'll be back.
Coming from Irvine, I found this spot while taking motorcycle lessons over two weekends, as it was the closest place with highest google reviews. Ended up coming here all four days. I ordered the Winston on multiple occasions, as I had heard about the English Breakfast but never had it. Definitely wasn't disappointed with getting the eggs over easy and adding bell peppers and onions to the home fries. One of the days I also got a chili scramble, and their side of Polish sausage is also excellent. Plus the staff is super friendly as well! I'll be looking for an excuse to make it up to Lake Elsinore again.
Hey folks, I'm all the from the North East,PA area and this is a really good place for Great food. I must say I travel the country for work and Im always looking for great places to eat other than the run of the mill chains. This place does not disappoint. From the moment I walked in to Annies it was fun. From the dancing gals ; ) to the first timer french fry hat, to the announcement I was a first timer it was really cool !! Very home like feel !!! I'll definitely revist this lil place for sure..Thank you for a great Breakfast.. well done..
My favorite place to get "Omelette Eggstravaganza" with hashbrown extra crispy 😍😍😍😍😍. So delicious!!!
I'm here a couple times a week, sometimes more. Normally it's breakfast, but occasionally I'll have lunch. I've never been disappointed. The staff are awesome. The food is great. If you're looking for comfort food in a great atmosphere, Annie's is the place.
Great food and service. Wait is worth it and a short dance is Cherry on top.
Expensive for a diner-style meal: Expect to pay about $15 per person for lunch. Soda extra. Must pay tip. Very cozy."Seat yourself" allowed us to pick the table we wanted. Unfortunately, most of the tables were dirty from the lunch crowd. I had their hot dog lunch special. It was OK. Others had hamburger and fries, starting at about $10. Soda was extra. Birthdays are celebrated here with singing and dancing, which was appreciated for comedic value.
The Chorizo breakfast was super. Tortilla was delicious. Totally a yummy good time.
The food was great. For a restaurant being full and crowded the waiters were on top of it. We were almost immediately seated and drinks placed on our table. Food was on our table within 10 to 15 minutes of arriving there for a party of six might I add. Portions were, as Goldilocks would say "just right" even the kids plates. Waiters were attentive fast and responsive with a smile and a great attitude. I love this place. It's small but they have the veranda which makes it much bigger. I wish there were more restaurants like this and I'm glad that we finally have one here close by. I could probably go on and on but just try it for yourself.
Great place for breakfast. Fantastic food. Friendly staff. Always a good choice.
the food is above quality. total comfort and great prices!! don't forget to swing by here when your in lake elsinore!!!
Really tasty Monte Christo sandwich, available deep-fried, and house potato chips, which have a fluffy inside like French fries, made for an excellent lunch. The servers stop what they’re doing every half hour to dance, adding to the cheerful atmosphere. The theme of the decor is supposed to emulate a British pub, with suits of armor and coats of arms. Fun experience.
Absolutely a spot worth visiting, the food is great and well prepared, the pricing is affordable and it is constantly neat here. Highly recommended.
